Jezebel (1938)

This infamous red dress in a sea of white dresses at the Olympus Ball was actually a rust color as it photographed better in black and white. The gown was designed by Orry-Kelly. ‘The Waltz’, was the music playing in this scene composed by the great Max Steiner. Both men were often contribut0rs to Bette’s films at Warner Brothers.
